A Moment in Time
A moment in time
I can't even think, the audience is so loud. I wish I could yell for them to be quiet. If they didn't I'd shoot them all with the pump shotgun in my hands. Though if I did I'd be sentenced for life in prison; that's not very good. I'm under a lot of pressure, it's killing me. I hold the gun up. I close one eye. Shotgun is ready to fire. My heart feels like kicking, trying to escape the custody of my chest. This one shell in this one shotgun could define this one man's future. BANG!!! The bullet escapes the shell, escapes the gun. It pushes air away, thrusts through the sky. WHAP!!! It hits the target.
A man walks to the target. Once I'd put the gun down, that is. After exactly 5 seconds, he yells ‘BULLSEYE!!!’
